Like a pop mid-west emo record made by people across the pond

 

With the best engineering and mixing I've heard in recent memory!

no way! but that would be pretty cool if i did, haha. i'm in no league to even stand in the same room as whoever mixed this.

 

Wanna listen bc the praise has made me curious but doesn’t seem to be on Apple Music :(

Mathy, melodic emo with sweeping instrumentation and big choruses FFO American Football, The Appleseed Cast, early 2010s Topshelf Records. They're on Friend of Mine Records in Japan and fit in really well if that gives you an idea!

Placid is such a fun song and I want them to head in that overly poppy fun direction going forward

No one’s called this an ep haha, but they have a couple eps that preceded this

 

Thought it said EP on the cover but it says LP

Really enjoy their first single as well

One of favorite albums from last year. Glad to see they will be getting more exposure here in the US. Was hoping for a completely new song but willing to wait for what they have in store.
