"How Bad Do U Want Me" is an absolute belter.

 

This album is SO GOOD!

I like how the return to black and white cover art recalls The Fame Monster and Born This Way, which is definitely what MAYHEM is rooted in.

 

The Beast is the only skip on here imo

 

if you count the two bonus tracks, i would cut around 3 of the 16

 

first listen and this album is IT

My first Gaga album. (Don’t tell me what album of hers I need to listen to!)

It’s good.

 

The most surprising thing to me is that Die With a Smile actually fits, I thought it was going to feel tacked on but it actually works well as the finale.

 

Yeah that lead in from “Blade of Grass” is doing some good work. It’s nowhere near as chaotically sequenced as I was imagining, the run from “Killah” to “Don’t Call Tonight” is seamless despite them being five very different songs.

I recommend the Zane Lowe interview, it’s a good way to spend some time.

This is like 80% pure fire and 20% songs I could totally leave on first listen. What a nice return to form as the weather is warming.

 

She killed it omg

 

The album is such a rush. A bit taken aback by the amount of 80s and funk influences as the singles made me expect more dark sounding, industrial vibes but it's already my favorite since Born This Way. I've never been a fan of her ballads so the end of the album does go in one ear out the other but otherwise, I'm pleased.

 

That “Killah” performance is one for the damn books.

 

Garden of Eden is a hit if I've ever heard one

 

A couple of Janelle Monae inspired-tracks. Liking this a lot.

 

Vanish Into You has strong FOB vibes and I’d love to hear a cover from them
