those tour dates are interesting, she never plays two nights in a row, i wonder if it takes an entire day just to set up her stage productions? maybe her voice does better with a night off between performances?

also, killer half time show. enjoyed it a lot! her voice sounded great but also very "real" if that makes sense, any backing track volume levels were well below her main vocal, no pitch correction. it was very refreshing!

 

The halftime show and tour announcement inspired me to give Joanne another try. Definitely enjoying it more now than I did a few months ago.

 

Better than Katy Perry's... I personally enjoyed it more than Beyonce's too but I know a lot of people here are big fans, and I can see the argument for hers' being better.

 

Gaga's style of performing is obnoxious to me. She reminds me of taylor swift in the way that neither seem to actually feel the emotions they're singing about, but they act them out in really over the top ways

 

Possibly the latter. At least in the case of the Chicago date, Green Day is playing the same venue the very day before. So she should be able to set up production and perform on the same day. Also could be to leave room for additional dates depending on demand.

I'm tempted to go to this, but I'm on the fence right now.

 

All of her vocals were pre-recorded, it's been a requirement for anyone playing the Super Bowl for a while now. She's a great vocalist for her actual shows though.

 

According to a few publications, mainly Mic and Bustle, they were not pre-recorded.

 

If the price is reasonable I might hit up the Philly date

 

Yeah reading up on it looks like I was wrong I know that they've tried to pressure all of the performers to do so, guess it's not actually enforced though.

 

I was wondering the same thing last night because I was pretty sure I could tell the vocals were live but I didn't know what the regulations were and whether or not my ears were playing tricks on me. I knew she'd been pretty vocal about not lip-syncing in the past.

 

From what I have seen from some other dates on Ticketmaster, the range should be close to $50-230.

 

i'd be pretty surprised if it was pre-recorded, it sounded really good but not "perfect", you wouldn't hear her struggle for breath at all if it was actually lip synched.

The rumor has been an EP/reissue like the Fame Monster.

 

I was surprised by new song considering she just reased album relatively recently but i really quite enjoy the song.

 

Went to the show at Citi Field last night. It was wonderful, but I was so bummed that she only played one song off of ARTPOP.

 

Went to the Cleveland show and it was fun and cool but not as good as the ARTRAVE. But yeah, was also disappointed in the lack of Artpop tunes.
