Whoa, 'Perfect Illusion' is really bad. Melodically, next to nothing pulling me in save for some little phrases in the verses, and vocally, she does not sound comfortable, especially in the chorus. Man, what a bummer, I really used to like her music, but it's been forever since that's happened it seems. I'd say high hopes for the album, but I wouldn't mean it. Hoping to be surprised, I guess.

I've grown a bit on the song, still not super great for her but I do like the last, like, 30 seconds where she kind of goes off a bit.

it's better than the last one. at least she has the courtesy to let people like me know I probably won't like this album from just the first two songs released. not expecting much
