eh. id probably only go for la dispute. havent seen them since they were here for wildlife like 5 years ago, but dunno if 8 songs is worth it.

 

5 years later that moment still gives me chills every single time.

Finally able to see these guys at the Gates/Thrice show in Detroit. Fucking killed it.

I love Mayor. Might be my favorite song from Rooms and maybe my favorite La Dispute song too.

 

Easily my least favorite of theirs since their first album.

 

Love this band. Hoping to make it out to the tour.

 

I've only seen La Dispue once back in 2014 (?) during that tour with Pianos and Mansions. One of the best shows I had ever been to and I wasn't even into the openers at the time. Wish I could go back and see that show again being as big of a fan of Pianos and Mansions that I am now.

 

I saw LD a couple of years ago when I had just got in to them and it was great despite not having a great grasp on most of the lyrics yet so I couldnt really sing along, ha. I'm very excited to see them again in August, I just hope the crowd is into it, the crowd was so good when they were the headliner but since they're supporting Coheed I'm expecting a much tamer crowd.

 

There was a nice little portion of the crowd that was getting rowdy towards the front when I saw them open for Thrice last week. Maybe that's because La Dispute toured with Thrice before back in 2011 though so they could have been the carried over fans. La Dispute has never toured with Coheed as far as I know.

Got my first monthly bundle in. Got a copy of 13, a shirt, a postcard and some photocopies of handwritten notes about writing Objects in space.

over 2 yrs now since ROTH. wonder if they are writing anything...

 

idk, seeing how they had the movie + soundtrack this year, I wouldn't expect anything for the next 12+ months.

 

you're probably right. they're still touring too

 

are they playing anything new on tour? or just the hits for the Thrice crowd ;)
