They killed it last night in Boston. They sounded really great and the new songs were insane. Definitely catch them if you can this tour!
dreamt of a room quickly shooting its way to the top of my all time fav LD songs. feels like it's a different song every day.
Incredible record. 2025 seems to be the year of bands coming back from the dead/a long time dormant and releasing absolute heaters
I'm a bit disappointed with the limited edition alternative cover. It wasn't actually a real cover, but merely a separate paper wrapped around the original cover. But hey, I got a black Ice colour on the vinyl...
I'm enamored with this album. It's all I want to listen to right now. I'm really surprised they skipped Chicago on this tour. It kind of looks like it was routed around Riot Fest and then that fell through? Hope they get back here next year.
Took me forever to finally spin this but it's another classic from the band. Outside of the album artwork, which I still do not like. This album blew me away, my issues with the early singles were (as I expected) nonexistent in the context of the whole record.
yeah i think the album cover is hideous lmao, looks like an eminem album left out in the sun too long
got my lyric book yesterday. can’t overstate the attention love and detail these guys put into everything. can’t wait to dive in and get even deeper into this record. i’m absolutely in love.
I love everything about the whole album layout, the cover's really solid. What I didn't like much more was the Panorama artwork, but I don't find the need to think about it too much anymore; it weirded me out when it was still their "latest", but now among all of the rest of their discography it's just fine
Caught their hometown show in Grand Rapids last night, was awesome to get the chance to see them perform where they started. All of the Grand Rapids specific merch was sold out shortly after doors opened but I was at least able to snag 2 of the limited foil posters.
been spending more and more time with this now that the seasons changing. they’ve always been a big fall band for me and i’m getting similar feelings to how i felt when wildlife came out in october 2011. not ready to think of where it lands in their discography. im just so happy to have this kind of record in my life again. went on a run this morning in the dark cold morning with siblings fist fight —> top sellers banquet playing on repeat. top tier stuff! got the chills several times.
My vinyl just arrived today. Interesting (but not surprising) that the "Environmental Catastrophe Film" 7" splits the track across both sides.
I finally watched the documentary over the weekend and it is such an incredible companion piece to the album: It's wild to see these songs take shape through planning discussions, jam sessions and then seeing their reaction to hearing it all come together in the mix. They seem like such a good group of dudes that are clearly on top of their game and so happy to be making this album together. I honestly never thought I'd see the day La Dispute would top Wildlife, but here we are.
