Convinced like 10 people to go to the Garden Grove show, which is something that hasn't happened since like 2007. Super excited. Curious who the special guest is, I can only assume it's the other famous screamo supergroup Traveling Wilburys.

United Nations was a pretty cool band but theyd prolly steal Dunes thunder seeing as theyre pretty similar

 

Pretty cool that this is a Dune themed concept album.

 

why are coheed fans hating on anthony green's vocals. claudio gets made fun of for having a high voice just as much.

I’ve said it a thousand times, Coheed are my favorite band, but hardcore fans really suck. It’s a constant one up of who knows more about the story, who’s a bigger fan, etc. and like someone else said, they pitch a fit about anything not Coheed. Saw them at a festival and someone at the barricade for them was watching Thrice, who ruled, and they were just obviously having an awful time. They’re strange ones.

 

any fanbase large enough to be large includes shitty people. simple fact of life.

i don’t know why but i was not expecting or prepared for 2022

idk how anthony got through that, but i hope it was helpful

good, imperfect first set with sparks of brilliance

for anyone who missed it, it looked like steve pedulla (thursday guitarist/tri state film dude) was filming the set so maybe something will come out

 

so what did the other songs sound like

 

I feel like if the rest of the songs are on par with the first, this has like top 30 album potential for me. Not of the year

 

New song out. I wasn't sold after the first minute, but holy shit, it's another ripper. I didn't hear the original AG version, but this goes hard.
