Pretty funny read re: the MCR crowd at LS Dunes shows A Post About People Being Weird at the LS Dunes Show Lmao (edit just to add this to the title: the band was great, some of the fans were NOT)
I think it's just funny to read what is going on at the these shows that people may not be aware of lol
really puts into perspective that one twitter thread, these people really do feel entitled to barricade lol
Boston show was incredible. Probably one of the most fun shows I’ve been to in a while. Kayleigh’s set was great too
Yeah that show was absolutely fantastic. Goddamn, it’s so unfair how handsome and talented Anthony is!
“SO. I go there expecting it to be like any other hardcore show I've gone to at this venue. Meaning: everyone shows up at doors, the bands usually come out and chill with everyone for a bit, then the show starts and it's chill and fun and there are only like 100 people there bc this is a tiny venue that really mostly hosts hardcore bands that anyone who isn't on the scene hasn't heard about” Both sides aren’t used to “normal” club shows it seems ha.
so the number system wasnt even by the venue and entirely by one little weird group?? wtf hahaha also why did i even read that
This is depressing! I've sadly never been to an MCR concert, but I've heard so many stories of folks camping out just to get near barricade. I'd never heard of such a thing in my day! Then again, i was always in the nosebleed sections of shows. Anyway, just some of the things I've heard of the fandom over the years, makes me sick. That's not to say there aren't good things too or that other bands aren't problematic, it's just that MCR is one of my favorite bands and the fans are starting to ruin things for me.
I remember people camping out for Paramore shows too. Its just a bit much for me, but everyone's different. They're fanatics/obsessives and I'm way too lazy for that.
This album gets better the louder you play it. It also sounds exactly like Circa to me. Similar chord progression styles and everything. Not that I'm complaining about more Circa-esque music.
Can’t believe the Spotify monthly listeners is sub 500k. Feel like this would have been bigger with the people involved.
