Will be interesting to see what comes of that, but I have to say my impression of the circa dudes generally is that they've always been pretty good at meaningful, non-performative allyship
Yo the LSD version of 2022 is a fucking banger. I like it so much better than the solo version. I’m so excited for this album.
Nabbed tickets for the London show. Can't wait, haven't seen Anthony live since a half hour circa set back in 08.
Yeah, I don't know the Sao guys personally, but they've always been much more on the "bro" side of life. Chris in particular, based on stuff I've heard him say on stage, in interviews, as well as their B2C "rap" stuff, which is best forgotten. Circa guys are a completely different vibe. Much more introverted, inclusive, and chill. "Safe camp" says all that you need to know about them. For a bunch of cis white dudes, I don't think you can get a more welcoming & inclusive band.
Same. I weirdly didn't really think about going when I saw it announced, but just a moment ago I got an ad on Instagram, and was like.. Anthony in London? How can I not go? So here I am. Tickets bought. I was lucky to see them twice on their last UK tour and again a couple of years in San Diego. So weirdly my Circa itch is kind of scratched. Really like LSD though so I'm excited for this. Also finding it really interesting how these shows will sell. Most Anthony projects wouldn't sell super quick, and obviously the album isn't even out, but Frank's involvement I guess pushes it a bit more.
I'm also happy just to wait til release day now, heard enough to convince me this is gonna be great. I have a 7 hour tattoo appointment the day after this comes out so I'm just gonna be telling the guy to stick it on repeat.
how will LS Dunes be a full time band, they cant right? is My Chem a full time band again now? Coheed is. i may have heard Thursday was back too? i never knew shit about those bands so forgive me for probably sounding uninformed
