Whoa small world! I’ll be at this tonight too. Just moved to the area so I can finally take advantage of the concert series they do here. I’m also pumped for Courtney Barnett in a couple weeks!

 

Turned out to be a really nice night, enjoy the show! I’m really pumped for Courtney Barnett, I’ve been trying to see her for years.

Yeah it’s damn near perfect here right now! Hope you have a great time as well. I’m definitely gonna be hitting up the Courtney Barnett show too! She’s way up there for me in terms of artists to see live

 

Courtney is so good live. And Kurt too. Although the only time I've seen Kurt is during the Kurt/Courtney Lotta Sea Lice tour so he didn't play a lot of his own material

 

Getting into Kurt Vile. Just listened to this album for the first time yesterday. Where should I go next in his discography?

 

Wakin... is my favorite

 

B’lieve I’m Goin’ Down is my favorite but Wakin’ on a Pretty Daze, Smoke Ring for My Halo, and Lotta Sea Lice (his Courtney Barnett collab) are great as well.

 

I love his collab with Courntey and should have clarified I have listened to that. I'll start with Wakin' and then check out B'lieve.

 

This album is great by the way!

I can't remember where I saw the interview, but he said he's looking forward to returning to Nashville to make a Nashville inspired album.
