    Crazy to think that he had so much life ahead of him. He could still be putting out albums, possibly still doing odd shows with Nirvana. Would the Foo Fighters exist? Can't help but wonder what could have been.

    Shit...it's not that he was older than I thought when he died—he just died 23 years ago. I guess it has been that long. Geez.

    Layne Staley would have been 50 this coming August as well. Both of their deaths hit me real hard. Two very talented people who lost their lives way too early to a nasty combination of drugs and depression. Sad to think that if they had been able to survive and get help, i could have imagined seeing a 50 year old Cobain and Staley touring together.
