Mostly about the history of the band and how tough the last few years have been on Kris. It's a good listen.

    - Knew Derrick Plourde could never be their full-time drummer because of his heroin addiction.
    - Thought after Anywhere But Here the band was done, but Kung-Fu persuaded him to continue.
    - "My Reply" was supposed to be the second single from So Long, Astoria, but the label pushed "The Boys of Summer" to radio without telling them.
    - Thinks So Long, Astoria is their most well-rounded album.
    - Has plans for the 20th anniversary of So Long, Astoria.
    - Caught COVID twice, almost dying the second time.
    - Pandemic took its toll on his marriage, and he and his wife are now divorced.
    - Has over 200 songs and ideas in demo form, but struggles to choose the best ones because he gets in his head.
    - Would love to record at the Blasting Room, but he's not sure he can afford their rate.
    - Hopes to release a new full-length in 2024.

  4. Awesome! Thanks for the clift notes! I reallyyyyyy hope he actually puts out a new album… he’s been saying it for so long now that I’m like “yeah ok Kris sure…” but I really hope he does.

I think he needs to probably scrap all or, at least, most of his “new” material and just start from scratch and focus on writing a new cohesive album. But we’ll see.

Will the 2024 album still be Graveyard of the Atlantic or a completely new one? Whatever it is, looking forward to it.
