I liked the second half of this more than the first, but I may just need to be more acquainted. feels like a stepstone to greater things down the road
This has been a constant in my rotation since Friday. What's Left to Say is my favorite of the non-singles.
Have always passively enjoyed Koyo's previous stuff, but this album is on another level. No skips from front to back, great features, I have absolutely no constructive criticism for this one, WOW!
Kind of how I'm feeling. Not completely wowed but if the band keeps developing the sound they could be a really interesting band. It's a decent record for sure. EDIT: I think what's holding this back for me is partly how it sounds, everything is loud all the time and there's no dynamics between verse and chorus. Makes things not feel as big as they should. Felt that way on the EPs too.
I really like this, been a long time since I liked something in the vein of bands like Four Year Strong. Pretty much every song is a really catchy. Not an album that reinvents the wheel, but for what it is, it’s really enjoyable.
also, for everyone enjoying this, don't sleep on with honor's comeback album 'Boundless'! fantastic melodic hardcore/punk listen here - With Honor - Boundless
I’ve really cooled on modern pop punk as a whole in the last 10 years but I’m loving this. That Vein.fm feature was just icing on the cake too
Just stumbled on these guys and wowwwww! Sooo soo good. Really channeling Four Year Strong and The Story So Far well with this album and executing it to perfection. I'm not familiar with the producer Jon Markson, but he did a fantastic job with this.
Jon is great! He’s produced the last two Drug Church records and I’m pretty sure he did the new TSSF record being announced tomorrow.
seen em twice, catch them if you can! saw em with neck deep & no pressure, they killed it both times , very energetic! fun hardcore punk vibes
Top 5 album last year for me. edit: if you dig the album check the eps and non album singles too. I love straight north.
This record is easily my favorite pop punk record of at least the last 5 years. This is simply how you do that genre right. Hope this band continues to get bigger and bigger.
