Brutal to listen to knowing the trauma he's been through recently.

 

This is great. They've always found a way to evolve and try new things while still sounding like themselves. This will be in rotation for a while.

 

curious who he's talking about also would not expect this from someone's biggest hit has the line "a cheap fuck for me to lay" haha

 

H@rd3r is a banging song for such a bad song title.

 

it just gets me every time I listen to the album. It's my favorite on there.

Now, nothing wrong with The Nothing (no pun intended), but I think I still like Serenity of Suffering better. Black is the Soul is my current jam.

 

It irritated me the other year when people kept posting these online but I actually need to do this one.

 

Somehow two decades passed without me hearing anything I can remember from this band and I gotta say I'm taken aback by how the new songs feel like a progression of everything that made them a hit back in the 90's. Impressive stuff!

 

I need to go back and jam this again.

 

System of a Down and Faith No More shared the same teaser picture... guessing a tour.

 

Holy shit that would be an epic show.

Starting my first discography run since... 2004? Idk, but wow the S/T holds up well so far. Ahead of its time.

 

On Untouchables already, this band fucking slaps omg.

 

Nearly 20 years later, and this still is my favorite song

I LOVE how unashamedly pop Untouchables is. Jon is pretty much singing like a diva on the whole thing, even if he gets a little much at times. The huge hooks, the chord progressions, the Nine Inch Nails-y industrial undertones... this remains my favorite album.

edit: Not a fan of this one so far. Feels very... uninspired and a step back after Untouchables. Right Now, Did My Time and Counting On Time are bangers though. I remember why I didn't replay it much at the time.

 

I’m really gonna have to go back and check out this album huh? Been forever since I’ve listened to any of their albums in full tbh

 

I've always maintained that history is going to hold Korn in high regard.

 

Only just found out that Aaron Paul was in the video for Thoughtless.

 

Take a Look In The Mirror is when they started to regress, big time.

 

Awe! Sad! I finally listened to it in full for the first time yesterday (I posted in the nu metal thread), but I really kinda liked this one! I mean, I might even like it more than Untouchables. Sorry. That's just my first reaction.
