I just binged the whole show and it was enjoyable watch... Really wanting more Sonic content, can't wait for Sonic 3 to release.
Paramount must have just told them "here's your budget, make sure it's kid friendly but do whatever you want we just need some slop for our failing streaming service" and behold - a wild 6 episodes of tv was born. Jorma Taccone directed episode 4 and there is a Lonely Island-esq rock opera about Knuckles' origin story sung by one of The Mighty boosh guys. More people need to watch this. It's fun! Nintendo would never allow the mario movie/tv franchise to go off the rails like this in 2024 lol
I had watched the first episode the day it premiered and was sort of underwhelmed. Decided to pick it up again today. 2 was okay. 3 was pretty great though. Knuckles and Wade’s mom was a cool pairing with that dynamic.
