Knuckle Puck to Release New 7″

Knuckle Puck will be releasing a new 7″ on March 17th. The release contains two new songs, “Calendar Days” and “Indecisive.” Pre-orders go up tomorrow.

Expecting big things from this, mainly an improvement in production lol

 

An improvement in production would be a key thing for my enjoyment.

 

I hope this isn't intensely boring

 

Hmph, I thought Copacetic was one of the more interesting releases from the scene in 2015. Hoping they go even further with their sound though!

 

I haven't been a fan of their last few releases, save a couple stray tracks. I'm optimistic, tho, and I hope they do too

 

Band has potential, but yeah Copacetic was regressive.

 

Can't help but associate the cover with JEW's Invented. I wonder if it might be an homage.

 

Am I the only one who thought Copacetic was really great? It was by no means a career-defining album, but it definitely seemed more interesting/ambitious than a lot of stuff that came out in 2015, at least in this particular scene. This song is just okay though...not sure if I'll end up biting on the 7".

 

The new song sounds like The Early November/Starting Line type stuff. I really dig it. His falsetto is actually quite nice! I hope they continue down this route. Copacetic tried out a lot of new ideas but had its growing pains. It sounds like they are starting to get comfortable with experimentation.

 

That comparison has finally sparked my interest to listen to this band.
