Feel like the build up to this has been a bit long. Just want the album now.

 

“Want Me Around” is easily my favorite of the singles so far and I probably like it more than anything on the last album.

 

Really good. Excited for the alb!

 

Like that one a lot. This album is shaping up to be really good.

I'm expecting it to cause at least a minor . . . shift . . . in my running list of favorite albums of the year.

 

This leaked, quite enjoying it actually. The run of Want Me Around, Conduit and Wait is great.

The leak is pretty low quality. I really hope the production isn't this bad.

 

Honestly kinda disappointed with this. Nothing is bad but it's way less adventurous than Copacetic (which wasn't even incredibly adventurous). Doesn't feel like they've really grown since Copacetic at all. Hell, the slow song on their little EP earlier in the year is better than anything on this. If you want some run-of-the-mill TSSF-core than you'll dig it. I'll probably be spinning this for a couple weeks and then forget about it.

Also, the leak is horrendous quality, I echo the comment about hoping the actual album sounds at least a little better (the prerelease singles don't give me a ton of hope).

 

What was that EP called? Must have missed it...

 

It was just a two song thing with Calendar Days and Indecisive. CD is a throwaway track, Indecisive might be the best thing they've done. It sounds like TSL a bit.

Conduit is about lucid dreaming and that is really cool.

 

Not a fan of this record after a few solid listens. Really just left me bored, as if it's content I've heard before. The singles did nothing for me and neither did any of the other songs.

I hope the production isn't that bad on the final release, but given how bad Copacetic's is as well, I don't have high hopes. It's super grating to my ears.

This is great, although Copacetic is better.

 

i think this is wayyyyy catchier than copacetic.

 

Catchier =/= better
