This article has been imported from chorus.fm for discussion. All of the forum rules still apply. Knuckle Puck are guests on the latest Rock Sound Podcast. Apparently they re-recorded a bunch of the album after not liking the first group of songs: None of us were really like psyched on it. Usually when you go in to record, it’s one of my favourite parts of being in this band – when you record it’s the real deal and you just get this feeling, man. But for some reason it just wasn’t there this time – the first time around. It was an odd feeling because the songs were really good but it just didn’t measure up for some reason, none of us were psyched. So we thought about it for two months and then re-did them – we both changed and kept a lot, and now we’re psyched on them! It’s been a rollercoaster of emotion and kind of crazy. think the new song is breath taking. Band is a blast to see live if you love this genre. Any time i show support for something on this site I get banned and receive death threats tho so take my opinion with a grain of salt i suppose.
I was acquainted with these guys before/during knuckle puck's conception. It's really cool to see them hold artistic integrity highly enough to hold back music that they aren't personally proud of. I look forward to this release.
Love "Gone". Very very excited for new album. Copacetic was borderline perfect. They are almost at their full potential, I think. One of the current best in the genre IMO
You're a fucking asshole. Go kill yourself. Kidding of course This band was great when I saw then during Warped Tour a couple years back. Looking forward to catching a full set from them sometime in the near future.
Admittedly I haven't listened to the podcast so I don't know if they confirmed this, but apparently they originally recorded with Will Yip? Can see why he wouldn't fit their genre but the production on Gone isn't great either.
lmao if i said that jason tate would ban me and take screen shots and than blast me behind my back for no reason at all
