I haven’t listened to a song yet loooved Copacetic but the next one was meh but Copacetic man I really think it’s one of the few recent pop punk albums that had a unique sound & interesting songwriting (production did suck tho altho I’ve warmed up to it) - they had these drawned out instrumental sections (one at the end) that were kinda unique & would love to hear them do more shit like that
I actually loved their second album. For whatever reason that album reminds me of this new era’s Where You Want To Be from Taking Back Sunday. I’m pretty stoked on this new album. Especially after listening to Earthquake.
Copacetic over Shapeshifter for me because there’s more forgettable songs on the last album. Production was bad on both, their EPs still sound more clean than the albums
I enjoyed Shapeshifter. It actually reminded me of Hidden in Plain View. I haven’t listened to a single song off this new album. I might just wait at this point. Is the production better at all?
Just heard the new song and it sounds so much like Jimmy Eat World's The Authority Song it's not even funny.
Yeah, that was a delightful first listen. Its a bit more dialed back compared to their other releases, but they delivered. 20/20 is an awesome opener and set the vibe for the album well for me. I really enjoyed Green Eyes too.
This is really good. Between this, Stand Atlantic and Yours Truly, it’s been a good month for a pop/punk fix.
Yeah this sounds great; catchy, top-notch production, etc. Think I might purchase this one to play in my car
