not thrilled about the code orange comparison tbh that band fell off something fierce after I am king but that’s okay I don’t hear it at all in these singles and if anything they’re getting heavier

 

I expect this to be true of every song

 

Moss Covers All and Take Me Home are the only two that make me think of Forever

 

While a great song this album’s closer is massive

in fact I’m very confident it’ll be everyone’s new favorite KL closer - it’s truly massive

 

That show was nuts tonight

 

Two weeks til my show

 

3 weeks for mine and I’m getting a good chunk of my leg tattooed the day before, should be interesting. Either way, most amped and impatient I’ve been for a show in quite awhile.

 

So stoked to see this band in a few weeks. Going to listen to some of my favorite hardcore records in the last few years today to prepare, since I fully expect this to be in that echelon

Very solid list!

I’ve been a huge Johnny Booth fan since Firsthand Accounts but Moments Elsewhere is just flat out incredible IMO. Really hoping that band continues to grow and highly recommend it to anyone in this thread who isn’t familiar!

 

Same here! And I’m a Long Islander so it’s been cool seeing them grow…Moments Elsewhere seems to be getting them some good tour placements. Their next album should make a big splash, they have the juice.

For those who have gone to the recent shows, what time have Knocked Loose taken the stage?

What's the order been? Are SMTB and Loathe switching every night or is it always Loathe and then SMTB?

 

SMTB and Loathe are switching. Idk if it’s every night but I know Nashville Loathe was before KL but last night it was SMTB.

 

How has Loathe been on this run? Any new songs?

 

They were really good but no new songs

 

I just ordered celebrity therapist on vinyl the other day I can’t wait til it shows up

 

I think on my show loathe is billed higher but I’m not sure

 

Really bummed Knocked Loose is in Portland the same night as the Death Cab/Postal Service show. One of those rare instances of multiple shows I want to see in the same night. A friend got me a ticket to that several months ago, so that's where I'll be, but I can't help but feel this will be the last time I could see Knocked Loose in a smaller venue. They seemed poised for bigger venues on future tours. Stoked for anyone seeing them now though!

 

The spring 2022 Knocked Loose with Movements, Kublai Khan, Koyo tour in 1000 cap rooms seems silly now just two years removed
