I’m assuming there’s some scrapped tracks (unless the plan was for a 9 track album) that got pretty far in the recording process. I wonder if they’ll release those down the road?
Knocked Loose: “Sacrificing heaviness was never an option…… | Kerrang! This is a great read. I'm aware they're definitely bigger right now than Converge ever was but reading them talk about this album affirms to me that I think they're going to have a lasting legacy much like Converge and that it's not just a current, trendy spur of the moment thing. When a band with their work ethic recognizes their unwillingness to compromise an inch on their vision is what makes them special it's very cool to see
I’m also very weary to believe anything posted anonymously to Reddit I’m sorry you can say what you want about it but Reddit is a hot bed of people making shit up that’s basically what the site exists for without anything more substantial I’m not taking it at face value. It’s insane to me someone had to post their STD test

so I've been listening to the entire thing for a few days and it's so massive sounding - it's huge. the guy who produced it Drew Falk definitely brought their sound to new levels. This is a full on metal core classic with some elements that remind me of Forever-era Code Orange - it makes sense they are opening for Slipknot and are playing bigger stages - their sound will translate so well to that without sacrificing any of the heaviness or what makes them Knocked Loose.
So hyped. I’m seeing them here in SF on Sunday too so my entire weekend is pretty much going to be primarily Knocked Loose related.
Well they gotta top: CLOSURE IN A PHYSICAL FORM REJECT THE HAND OF THE DEVOUT WHEN I SAW THE GHOST WAS YOU ALL THE LIGHTS WENT OUT
I should do that too. Been listening to Qobuz lately though, really makes a difference with wired headphones/speakers that can handle it. I will say though, these singles are... somehow more abrasive in full FLAC quality, haha.
Oh I'm listening to this bad boy on my full speaker system (two towers and a sub), singles sounded monstrous through that medium
