Agree on the Boundaries train new album is sick and they are unreal live. This album might top it though, looking forward to the rest of the album.

 

Little More Death is my favorite metal record of the year. Just wait til you hear Scars on a Soul or their single Easily Erased. So sick.

 

Single verges on too generic sounding in the chorus, but the clean vocals are used sparingly enough that it works. Def gonna take this on a workout soon.

I'll give it another listen, tried like 3-4 times back and watched the whole animated film when it came out to no avail. hoping it clicks this time, esp since I'll be seeing them soon lol

 

The Upon Loss singles are a good stop gap, so if you like the singles for this record, it's hard to imagine you won't like those.

 

Oh that's where I started paying close attention to this record. Love those tracks.

 

Hmm, yeah, sometimes it just doesn't click. Maybe try again once the new album comes out and you wear it out. That happens with me a lot.

 

Yup, can't wait. Also tried a bunch with A Different Shade of Blue since that was all the rage. Glad I'm fully on board now though!

 

I started paying attention at the exact moment the Pantera-esque riff in Belleville dropped.

 

It definitely was a shift with me after ADSOB. That one still hasn't fully clicked with me, but I've been onboard since I heard the first note of Tear. Im guessing that turning the dial up further on the metal and slightly less -core is what did it.

Kinda shocked ADSOB is looked down on now lol, I fuckin love that album. They might technically be doing more interesting stuff from A Tear in the Fabric of Life-on but ADSOB still ripssssssss. Keith in Forget Your Name makes me so happy.

 

This band is absolutely killing all of their media surrounding this release on top of the amazing songs. Suffocate is probably my favorite so far. Video fits it and Poppy's guest spot so well.

 

I'm obsessed with this fucking song. I'm relatively lukewarm on most things Poppy, but this feature is so good.

I'm rather particular about heavy music these days, but boy does this hit the spot.

 

Suffocate has overthrown Blinding Faith as my favorite single off this new record. It’s almost too good?

 

Seeing people get up in arms claiming that KL "stole" the Suffocate breakdown from this song that just came out two weeks ago.

 

If this came out two weeks ago - then there’s no way KL could have ripped it off.

They do sound familiar though lol
