The Garden gives me douche chills lol. Feels like a remnant of that 2016 burger records era that I couldn't stand.
Yep, couldn't resist seeing them in Asbury Park. Last time I saw a Summer Stage show it was the Coheed/Mastodon tour with ETID opening and it was one of my favorite shows I've been to.
It's coming out on Wednesday. They originally posted the video with the caption 9/11 which didn't stay on the internet for very long for obvious reasons.
Got to see these guys for the first time last night opening for Slipknot, and they put on a damn good show. Excellent live band. This was a treat for me, cause I was bummed missing them earlier in the year, due to it being the same evening as Death Cab/Postal Service. Was cool to see the crowd mostly into them too. Heard a teen behind me saying he couldn’t understand Bryan’s vocals afterwards, which made me chuckle, cause I could barely understand half of what Corey Taylor was screaming myself. Like, you do understand the genre you’re listening to, right?
If yall know about Wheatland CA and seeing that Danny fucking Brown and KL are gonna play that amphitheater….my god that’s so sick.
I’m mad at these guys for subjecting me to The Garden probably the worst live band I’ve seen in some time having said that, DRAIN was fucking amazing
tonight was, to the best of my memory : 7 militarie 7:45 drain 8:40 garden 9:45 knocked KL was the most punishingly heavy set I’ve ever seen. I was in the balcony and I feel like I got beat up.
Apparently tonight's show is an earlier one so Militarie said they're starting at 6, which at my age now and driving 2 and half hours to the venue I very much appreciate haha
Unfortunately because of traffic and trying to find parking I missed Militarie Gun and only caught the last two songs of Drain, but the crowd was decent for The Garden. And honestly I thought The Garden was fun, they had a fun energy to them.
