So what’s a good album to pair with to get an hour or so of listening ? I tried Glow On the other day.
I’d go Knocked Loose and then come down with Here in the Pitch, the new Jessica Pratt album. Completely different records, but they’re maybe the 2 best of the year imo.
I just saw Boundaries live last night (they’re on their first ever headlining tour) and they went so hard. 10/10 recommend seeing in person.
The most recent Vein album This World is Going to Ruin You feels very thematically and structurally similar and they go well together
my buddy got us balcony seats and I sold my floor tickets but I’m gonna run down there for a couple songs for sure lol
I am genuinely worried that I'm not going to have a good time in the GA section for this haha i go to a ton of shows, metal included, but I do like to hang out away from the danger and moshing. I feed off that energy but don't need to partake. The venue it's at so far has been great at leaving plenty of room even when it's 'sold out'. There's a pit that's GA then some bleacher style seating that's also GA, I have been to one show here (The Smile) where they metered the pit and you had to wait for a 1 out, 1 in type situation so maybe that'll be the case here and I won't even get in the pit anyway. (Though I plan on going early for Loathe - 50/50 on if I want to check out show me the body). Normally it seems pretty split between people who want bleachers or pit and it's never too crowded in the standing area but EVERYONE's gonna wanna be floor this show.
I wouldn’t be too worried on the floor at the venue my show is at especially because I do wanna hit the pit for at least a song or two like I did when I saw them open for MIW but when my buddy gave the option of getting balcony instead I was like yes absolutely
Wonder if a major label will pick them up, or if they’re still contracted to PN for a few more records
I would be shocked if their next record wasn’t on a major. I’m sure they could be bought out of their current contract, but no clue how that stuff works.
Article says they "penned" 30 songs before cutting it down to 10 to release. Fingers crossed we get some B-sides / bonus tracks soon.
