goddamn A Tear In The Fabric Of Life is something else, wish I'd known about these guys when that dropped
Had to go check videos from the set but LA also had George Clarke on "God Knows" Kadeem France (loathe) on "Billy No Mates"
This thing is huge - Definitely gave me that 'Jane Doe' feeling listening through it Very unusual for a band to become more uncompromising the bigger they get but they seem to be pulling it off
I agree with everyone shouting out Vein as a band to check out if you dig this but I actually think their most recent album is more similar sound than Errorzone. The final track on that reminds me a lot of Sit and Mourn
knowing they wrote part of this album in Joshua Tree is so cool. The Glitch Mob, Foo Fighters, and The Maine have all written/recorded some amazing material there. Wish I still lived in the area now that I’m dipping my feet into EDM production again
Slipknot is really the best comparison I have. I remember when Iowa came out and it was mindblowing. Could have abandoned what they were doing and instead went harder.
Didn’t want to post until I sat with this and kind of knew it’d need to click more. Anyway, goddamn, didn’t think they could get even more relentless. (Non-single) Standouts so far are definitely “Moss” and “Calm” (my god the percussion). Cannot wait for this show even more now. This band has legit been a lifesaver for me the last several months.
Disambiguation is one of the albums I can think of where a band got weirder and heavier at their peak popularity
I love that we’re calling out all of these moments that are reminiscent of nothing but the best hardcore/metalcore bands of all time the opening of this rivals “spare only the ones I love - stay the rest”
Yeah he came out and did a handful of times on their last tour across the pond. Didn’t expect for him to show up in LA.
I’m leaving for a road trip the next day but I’m thinking I need to buy a ticket for the Chicago date next week.
When he blips into that scream at the end of Slaughterhouse 2 at ONE MUTILATION UNDER GOD. HARD That song could start a fucking riot.
