Dang I haven’t listened to that Chariot album in a long time, I bought it the day it came out. Need to throw it on again soon.
Went to target to pick up a suitcase and couldn’t help myself. First vinyl I’ve bought in a long time.
So you don’t have to wait in the merch line and/or carry the record around the show. I’d pay double for that.
Eh I mostly chill at shows these days anyway so carrying it’s not a big deal and I plan on hitting merch during show me the body since I’m not huge on them (and at the venue they’re playing merch lines are super short while bands are playing)
I think someone else said something similar before but the breakdown at the end of Calm makes me want to charge into Mordor at the Battle of Morannon
Just a heads up, but last I saw Knocked Loose doesn’t sell merch during the openers. Another one of their hardcore ethics that they’ve maintained.
Spent the last two days reattaching my head to my body after I heard this thing. The transitions go hard as fuck and Piece by Piece is my favorite song. I probably like A Tear in the Fabric of Life a bit more but this album is incredible. My one tiny critique is wishing the guitars were a bit louder, but I'm always picky about mixing.
someone on twitter was trying to argue with me that all their albums sound exactly the same and I just have to wonder if people are just lying to be a hater or what
Was just watching some videos of their LA show and that crowd was bananas. I NEED to see this band live. Either gonna roll solo to the nyc show this month or convince someone to join me at that Slipknot tour
dude lol, the shit I’ve been seeing people say about them and this album has been hilarious. You can tell when people are hating just cus they’re a super popular band.
the hardcore scene has a really bad habit of turning on bands who don’t deserve it even if they get popular and stick to their ethos and stay true to who they are. happened to Thursday back in the day.
Even the metalcore/deathcore kids do it badly to their own and they’re mad about how big this album is too rn I’ve seen.
it’s so weird because it’s a best case scenario where a band is getting huge without compromising on their vision one bit
