Also anyone who says “this is just a cheap ripoff of clue” (I’ve seen quite a few on IMDb) hasn’t seen the movie and is a shitty asshole. This is nothing like Clue
I've seen about a million "oh i cant wait for johnson to "subvert my expectations" again" tweets about this movie and honestly I'm just tired. This movie is so good regardless of your feelings about Last Jedi
There’s even a self-aware reference about it being like Clue in the movie. I saw this last night, thought it was HIGHLY enjoyable
Also, can we please just appreciate & acknowledge Michael Shannon’s scenery-chewing performance? This guy had me in laughter almost every scene he was in. I love Shannon so damn much, I’m so glad he was in this film!
I thought everyone gave it all they had. Toni Collette was great, the guy that played the trooper, Chris Evans , etc
The trooper was played by Noah Segan, who has a role in literally every single Rian Johnson production (including Breaking Bad, he was in Ozymadias)
Ugh this was awesome. I’m pissed I missed the first 5 minutes or so; I can usually count on regal to have 25+ mins of previews, but perhaps this being an early screening there was only 15. Biggest laugh for me was Craig’s donut ramble near the end Toni was hilarious the whole time the political argument about immigration was way too close to real ones I’ve heard and had haha
Only one trailer? I may go tonight. Guess I need to be there at showtime in case they don't run a full trailer package.
Well one trailer BUT regal has started that bullshit “five minutes of commercials after the scheduled start time.” Absolutely infuriating. Also they leave a picture of the movie on the screen for two minutes before it starts for people to take selfies with.
What?!?!?! This is INSANE! I go to AMC, since I have A-List, but I've gotten down to a science since they normally run about 23 minutes of trailers. Every now and then (1 out of 10+ movies) they'll screw me and go shorter. Guess I won't take any chances tonight.
Yeah, my theatre had like 5 mins of normal commercials--not sure if that's normal for them now since it's been a couple months and then just 1 trailer (which I forgot).
all i got was that fox news movie for trailers followed by "Hi I'm Olivia Wilde director of the movie everyone should've paid to see asdfoqerhgpasidugiurbgapriwhuapiurghaepisuhaep;hurgiuearuheg"
We had two or three and a message from Rian telling us we were supposed to have posters for a contest, but the employees never gave them to us.
When I bought tickets, I didn’t realize it was an early access thing lol. So I saw it last night and it was a really fun movie. The whole cast was great, and I guess I underestimated the movie? Because I didn’t expect it to be bad or anything obviously, but it was just way better than I expected. Chris Evans was just so cool. Also, I felt like Daniel Craig watched a lot of Kevin Spacey in House I’d Cards to get his accent down. He sounded just like him!
the early access screenings (today and yesterday) do i think. pre-screenings that are mainly for press do not
