This snagged a Golden Globe nom for Best Comedy AND Ana de Armas and Daniel Craig both got noms for leading actor in their respective categories.

 

I absolutely loved this.

 

this was apparently improvised by Don Johnson

 

I wonder if him changing which country she was from every time he said it was as well.

 

no that was likely in the script because every member of the family got it wrong at some point in the movie

 

I just have to say...in a time where it feels like there are so many dark and cynical films out there (many of which I love), it’s really really nice to see good triumph the way it does in this one. I felt so warm and fuzzy at the end of this. The last shot is just pure gold.

 

As much as I was hyped for this movie, Knives Out delivered, 100%.

Movie of the year for me.

I'm going to be quoting the Donut/Donut Hole monologue for ages to come. Complete with half-assed southern accent.

Holy shit this was so fucking good and fun

 

saw this a second time slightly drunk between parties and goddamn it's movie of the year

hearing my friends go whoaaaa with every twist in the second half was just amazing

 

this fucking rocked

 

Finally saw this yesterday and I'm so glad it lived up to expectations. Every character was so fun.

 

This singlehandedly made me a Daniel Craig fan.

 

Who doesn’t like Daniel Craig...

 

Me, until this movie.

 

Y tho

 

I’ve just never enjoyed anything about his acting until now. And I was very much in the You’re the Worst, “He looks like an upset baby,” camp. After this I’ll be reevaluating a bunch of his stuff for sure.

 

one thing i did not care for in this movie was daniel craig’s accent

 

See, I could listen to him do Foghorn Leghorn CSI: KFC all day long.

 

Craig's accent took this from a 10/10 to a 12
