Gonna guess that this movie won't actually be so bad that it costs Rian Johnson his next Star Wars movies. Can you imagine?!

 

As far as I know, Rian Johnson is still developing a new Star Wars trilogy. So TLJ didn't cost him anything, but in fact afforded him more opportunities.

I am excited to see him do a smaller movie, though.
