Rewatched the first one just now. The church fight and third act are still incredible.

Can't wait for this one!

Taron would have been such a perfect Scott Summers.

 

Firth sells this moment better than anyone else could, I think. It's when Harry and Eggsy make sense.

 

Actually, it was Eggsy who says that line

Ah, touche. Yeah, stuff like that is a big reason why Colin was why the first movie's as great as it is. Sorta wish we didn't know right away that he'd be back but then I guess he wouldn't get top billing again that way

 

Yeah, and after the Kit Harrington/Game of Thrones debacle, I don't think doing that sort of thing is even possible in 2017? But then again, Beyonce's done it twice so who knows.

 

Also, why is Colin Firth - Eggsy's mentor - and Julianne Moore who's playing the villain both getting billed over Egerton who's the star? Is it a contractual thing?

 

because they're bigger draws maybe

 

you could argue everyone on the bill is a bigger draw than taron, really. or at least, used to be.

 

Could be, but almost everyone else in the main cast is more well known than him

 

A lot of it is contractual. Certain actors demand certain billing.

Looks like this got moved up ANOTHER week (up against Lego Ninjago), who knows when we'll finally see it
