Very little interest in a prequel

 

Sounds like he's confused about the demand for a prequel (and possibly even Kingsman 3!)

 

The first two were really fun movies, why wouldn't there be a demand for more?

 

I may be wrong as i’m in the UK but I had thought that people were mostly disappointed with the second film and there isn’t as much demand for much else.

 

I don't think it did as well box office as the first one or was as good, but IMO it was a really good and fun movie. I mean, all of this is personal taste haha. I can't understand why anyone would be against another Kingsmen when the first two were good. I don't think anyone who out right hated them would be in this thread.

 

Kingsman made over $400 million worldwide. Twice. Of course there'll be a third one. But I don't think anyone needs a prequel, especially if they're dropping it ahead of the trilogy-capper

Is this franchise really big enough to support back to back movies and a TV show?

 

They had nearly identical worldwide sums of $414m/$410m. Probably not the best amount, but definitely profitable.

 

I was wondering if it was profitable enough as well, but I'm super glad it is.

Was the second one even well-received? I enjoyed the first but don't remember hearing the greatest things about the 2nd; didn't bother watching it

 

Didn't Netflix buy Millarworld? What ever happened with that? Disney/Fox still seems like the only ones interested
