This was fine. Way too long. Should have been 2 hours max.

Thought it was way too long. I guess I should have used the word “fine” instead of mid. It’s not a bad movie - great effects, well shot, good performances, some interesting ideas but it’s mostly pretty safe (I love the wild swings the OG sequels take) . It just didn’t fully click for me in the way that the prequels did.

Yes. It can go in some very interesting directions

 

Yeah there are some cool ideas that they don’t expand on a lot. Caesar’s ideas being used and abused as a religion are cool but they don’t go into that as much as they could have.

 

How is WHM in this? This is his first big movie since he got put in actor's jail for the college admissions scandal IIRC.

 

he’s fine but it’s a pretty small forgettable role.
