Cool aesthetic but filmed with the energy of a Disney plus show

 

I'd inquire further but alas, I cannot.

 

Anyways the last movie was solid but nothing will touch the Matt Reeves trilogy imo

 

Reeves didn't do the first one.

F4 was bland

Glad we have a place to talk about F4. Shit movie.

 

Didn’t see it. This last Apes movie was good though, even if the secret human base cliffhanger was kind of uninteresting. I’m not upset if they ditched that, but it’s surprising since this was decently successful from what I remember.

 

I don't watch a lot of Marvel movies and enjoyed the aesthetics plus the first 2/3rds of F4, but some of the visual effects were baffling and the ending felt super rushed. Still liked it more than I didn't and he may have the opportunity to try more here without being under Marvel's thumb.
