this album is sick and Hit the back is the best thing ive heard and i have listened to this single song like 30 times on repeat this morning lmao

 

I want Useless Phrases to be about 10 times longer than it is


Also, Homegirl is a fucking treasure, “spelling my name with your tongue”

 

Hit The Back has me dancing in my seat

 

Thought this was cool. The standouts were Tough On Myself, Prophet, and pretty much all of the last 4 songs.

 

This record rules. Glad I didn’t overplay any of the singles

 

it's wild how even though it's just Mark Ronson's label and he offered advice it sounds like his work

I can't tell if Trust Nobody is referencing Here by Alessia Cara intentionally or not
I wish there were more songs like Hit The Back as much as I love the more throwback R&B type songs

 

The only fault this album has is that Pussy Is God isn’t on it

OMG

I’m naming my album after one of those albums. There’s gotta be some type of sign in this...... must overanalyze.

 

Singles + "Homegirl" + closer were what popped on the first few listens. I'll definitely give it a bunch more, but kind of middle-of-the-road for me after really loving "Cheap Queen", "Prophet", and "Hit The Back".
