One of my favorite subgenres of episodes is when Bobby gets really into something considered feminine, Hank approves because he benefits, and Peggy gets jealous of their relationship. She is the best character on the show, full of delusions of grandeur, completely oblivious to the way she comes off to people and driven to extreme pettiness from the suburban lifestyle.
Animation will take time to get use to, but definitely feel more excited after seeing this. Seems like it still has it’s charm
Also I’m not sure if anyone here plays Fortnite, but I got the Hank skin this week and it’s brought me so much joy. I can’t believe they actually went through with it
No, it was George W. Bush. He votes Bush because it is important to stop Luanne's communist candidate.
This all leads to the long debate over whether or not Hank Hill would have become MAGA. Living in Saudi Arabia for years throws a wrench into that as well.
Principal Moss becomes a bigger character in the later seasons and he gets a little too silly but for a while he is my favorite character. The only thing he cares about is the budget and how it will make him look.
Monday is the one year anniversary of my father's death and the way those roles slowly reverse over time are so sad to think about after it's over. Little things like when you are the one asked to lift something or when they start asking you what a letter is supposed to mean. It is a cruel circle.
That’s so hard. My dad can barely walk and my mom has aged 20 years in just one because of cancer treatments. Trying to enjoy these last years with them but I wish I didn’t take it for granted when they were healthy.
The show really should have developed a wider cast of characters. They end up reusing a lot of storylines later on because they can't lean on their world the way The Simpsons can. For example, there isn't a single recurring character you can link to Peggy. Outside of his two friends on the block, Bobby has Dooly and the nerd who breathes through his mouth.
First hearing Toby do Dale's voice there. It'll take some getting used to for sure but I am very open and optimistic about this now
