Tell me what I missed Supporter

    I love music

  2. Happy Phantom Island Day. I'm loving how much Cookie is singing on this one.

  6. This feels most similar to Paper Mache Denim Balloon to me. Lyrically, it’s closest to Butterfly 3000.

worth checking out their previous album Flight b187 too, I believe these are outtakes from that album that they added orchestral overdubs to afterwards

Welcome. Polygondwanaland is my favorite, truly a perfect album imo. Flight b741 would probably be a good one to try next though if you like this, haven’t listened to the new album in full yet but the singles sound pretty similar to that one.

The "b741" is named after the chord progression right? Or did someone just make that up

Aerodynamic is maybe the best song I’ve ever heard. this album just gets better and better with every listen.

@Carrow Omnium Gatherum is great to have a little taste of everything they can do. But nearly every album is great. For more like this sound in particular Paper Mache Dream Balloon and Changes would probably make you happy.

  13. So that's six different albums mentioned, thanks everyone - I'll start with Flight b741 and go from there!

  14. tbh I would rec the live bootleg gizzard tapes...Lisbon and Barcelona were both great. But you can't go wrong

With metal in my bones and punk in my heart Supporter

Yeah, I've never spent much time with this band outside of their couple releases that lean more "metal", but I'm digging this.

As much as I enjoy their genre hopping I would love if this was the sound they settled on

  23. latest one is fun, very sweet and calming vibes, not exceptional among the discog to me so far though. seem like they will be good cool down tunes live

  24. As much as I liked my initial few listens, I'm putting it on the back burner in favor of the EU bootlegs. It doesn't help that FedEx has seemingly decided not to ship my record from the hub but I'll return to the album ahead of the US tour.

Barcelona N3 is still the highlight for me as far as EU shows go, the run from The Reticent Raconteur through Daily Blues has me in a chokehold. The table versions of Sense from Bulgaria N2 and Kepler 22-B from Athens N2 have also been on repeat.
