Enjoyed it but got a bit worn out on the sound well before the last song arrived tbh. Sounds like they had fun, though.
Kind of how i feel. The songs are a lot of fun but it gets kind of grating after a while, the harmonica especially
Antarctica, Raw Feel, and Flight b741 are my favorites, I really like this sound for them and love all the vocal harmonies. The singles are probably my three least favorites.
Title track has been stuck in my head all week, it’s hook after hook. Wish it was longer but I imagine it’s going to be an absolute blast live.
yea Antarctica, Raw Feel, and Flight b741 are my favorites as well. There are bits and pieces throughout the whole album that keep popping into my head. It's a grower
Their production always sucks. It works for the lo fi garage rock stuff but I really wish they would try an outside producer next time
The title track is Lucas’s (bass player) first ever song for the band and he really knocked it out of the park. I’d agree that it, Antarctica, and Raw Feel are the standouts. I also really like Mirage City and Field of Vision.
I had a ton of fun with this on my first listen, no gripes with production from me listening on my good over ears. Just some simple bluesy southern rock. Now Im kinda bummed Im not seeing them in Portland this month.
They've announced that they'll be streaming the entire tour for free on YouTube. After some early issues, last night's went well and they gave DC a helluva setlist.
They were unbelievable last night. I went with my friend who knew a song or two and by the third song he turned to me and said “I think I get it now”. Can’t wait for Wednesday in Toronto.
Yeah, last night smoked. I was wanting to pee after Hot Wax but then they went into Planet B and never slowed down.
That set is unreal. I have yet to see this band. They were playing Belgium the day my daughter was born. Couldn't make it for obvious reasons. So hopefully I get another chance soon.
Yea I saw them for the first time this weekend and I’m now committed to seeing them every time they come to town for as long as they are a band
Last night’s acoustic set was incredible. I love that they’re taking more risks with what songs they choose to do acoustic versions of, like I never thought we’d get Theia or Rattlesnake lol.
I scored 2 tickets to last nights Newport show at the last minute, and holy shit. Felt like Sarah Connor getting my skin blown off from the nuclear apocalypse the entire set. They played 2.5 hours and hit songs from 13 albums.
