I've never listened to this band before but dig Gila Monster. Where in the world do I start?

 

Personally I’d go Nonagon Infinity->Polygondwanaland->I’m In Your Mind Fuzz. Murder of the Universe as well if you’re cool with a weird proggy/sci-fi garage concept album. If you like more of their metal sound definitely check out Infest the Rats’ Nest. Gaia from Omnium Gatherum is my favorite of their metal songs.

Yea this is nuts. Wasn't sure if I wanted their next album to be a metal one but it rules

 

I have no previous experience with this band, but I love this. It's like if a couple hyper talented dudes just wanted to channel Mastodon Crack the Skye energy into their own thing. Article above was cool too, but I laughed a little when they called Meshuggah and Blood Incantation black metal.

 

if youre into this one, check out Infest The Rats Nest......but every other album really is kind of its own unique sound...maybe check out Omnium Gatherum after that for a little taste of everything they do.

 

Murder of the Universe is the other metal album to check out

 

yeah also never heard this band but just fired this up and love it so fsr

 

Cavs has really outdone himself on this one, I love all the Tool-esque breaks

 

This is awesome — I’m very into this iteration of the Giz

agreed. I especially love Dragon -> Flamethrower for the final push into a nice cooldown.

Set is an undeniable banger and I love the climaxes of the other two. Will be listening to all 3 for the rest of the day.

 

Not sure how i'm going to feel about this album but even if i don't like it, they'll release something else right after
