If you really want to know it's (mild spoilers, more about structure than content) three short, unconnected (maybe?) black comedy stories / sketches I often trust their opinions, but have moved away from reading bbc entertainment reviews as they spoil the hell out of things. I'm not sure I was going to rush out and see this anyway, but they basically summarized it there. I only read through what the first sketch contained when I realized how much it seemed to be spoiling.
All good. That's why I spoiler tagged it as I wasn't sure what you were asking for. Now you know to avoid bbc for this movie and in general for anything you want to avoid spoilers on. Their reviews are terrible for basically telling you the whole movie alongside their opinion.
guess i’m mirroring what some critics thought, but i found the the first segment to be remarkable, while the other two were good enough, but maybe needed some touch ups. should probably advise others who might be sensitive to animal abuse that there’s a scene where emma stone slices a dogs arm leaving a noticeable cut. not yorgos’ best, but i didn’t feel like nearly three hours were wasted
As someone who didn’t connect to Poor Things, this film had me 1000% back on board with Yorgos. Absolutely loved it
Definitely letdown by this, couple of moments, but felt like a chore and it’s length a number of times.
