Killswitch Engage and The Devil Wears Prada were both fun at Open Air.

Nope. That was the Rise Records tour. They probably said last tour of 2016.

So excited. Seeing Killswitch on there last show reminded me with how fantastic they are live. This support is awesome too, haven't ever seen TDWP but always been a fan. With their new album being so good, I'm stoked.

Been listening to the new TDWP album and boy is it good. I wonder how many new songs will be played, with them opening I wouldn't think they'd have any more than 8 songs.

It seems like from their most recent shows, they've dropped Born to Lose which is a bummer, I have never seen it live.

If TDWP want to win over Anthrax fans they'll be smart and play a set focusing mainly on Zombie/Dead Throne/8:18. You don't expect to win over thrash metal fans coming out to Reptar, King Of The Ozone. I'd hate to see them be booed by some drunk 40-50 year olds who can't open their minds to newer sounds, like I'm already expecting.

id like to see this as their 8-9 song set

    praise poison
    escape
    outnumbered
    to the key of evergreen
    sailors prayer
    supernova
    daughter
    mammoth
    danger wildman

however it's just them and killswitch on my date, so i'm expecting atleast 11-12 with an encore.

I don't think people that are only there for Anthrax will like TDWP no matter what they play lol, but I don't think they like playing anything older than Roots, which they only play a few songs from even on headliners. So I'd assume you are correct.

Not bad at all! I'd add Deadthrone and Born to Lose, but I dunno what I'd take out. Supernova is def the best song from the Space EP.

yeah the band isn't dumb, they hate the scene shit as much as the anthrax fans would so it works out lol

Fuck I may need to drive to Austin for that. Dead to Fall makes it mighty tempting.

What's the indicator that Killswitch or Anthrax is closing each night? I'm guessing how the venue has it listed on their site?

Sucks this isn't stopping in Chicago would love to see killswitch on a headlining tour. Skipped them at Chicago open air last year and saw them twice in 2015 with the tour they did with rise against
