I want to make a poll for these guys this week, but this threads reply total is bumming me out.

 

This is solid. Nothing really comes close to Disarm The Descent, and overall it's more of the same but at least I'm way more into it than Incarnate.

 

The song featuring Howard just showcases how much better a fit he is for the band.

 

Howard's track came up on Spotify and I thought he'd rejoined the band for a second.

 

I enjoyed this, nothing like, BREATHTAKING but it's a good album

 

I meannnnnn yes it's one of the best on the album but their 2009 album is probably still their weakest effort imo so it's probably good he stepped away and did his own thing. Still not a bad album but my least favorite I think.

 

These guys lost me at As Daylight Dies. But I was just also losing interest in metal as a whole. I listened to some of Disarm the Descent and never went back to it. I used to love Alive or Just Breathing & The End of Heartache. I think I’m gonna go on a run through their discography and see where it all sits with me now.

 

Alive or Just Breathing was one of my gateway albums in to metal way back when. Admittedly it’s not a genre I visit often these days as well.

 

I must be a weird one because I'm only really into the last few records

 

I have no idea how people comfortably pick between Howard and Jesse, they're two of the best singers in this entire genre and it's ridiculous they were both in the same band

unfortunately nothing since ADD has really lived up to their talent songwriting-wise (Disarm had its moments) and this is more of the same to me, nothing stands out except the features at all

 

Bite the hand that feeds is an amazing song.

idk if there's a dedicated thread for it somewhere, but the new Times of Grace album has some colossal songs. probably my favourite adjacent release since Disarm
