the scene interrogating Blackie was so good with the “he was gonna break me out of prison” “how’d that go” “well im talking to you here, how do you think it went” lol

 

lol did they confuse him with M Night?

 

Someone in my theater looked restless the entire time and left with like, half an hour - 45 minutes left in the movie

 

With how quickly the murders apparently were solved, it seemed like almost all of the white people around were either involved or knew someone who did, so once you could get someone and dangle jail time in front of them, the entire operation fell on promises of leniency.

 

I can’t imagine not being captivated every frame.

 

Best visuals were the field burning (and that was definitely all influenced by Days of Heaven)

I think Hale did a good job of making sure all of Osage nation thought he was an actual friend so they didn’t suspect him. It was hinted that Molly was afraid of him (Hale) but wouldn’t say it out loud to anyone.

 

Also this old couple thought they got seats in the last row but they were actually the front row. They kept sitting in different seats until those people would show up and then they’d move to different seats again until the wife finally got pissed off and made them go their actual seats.

 

This happened to me a few weeks ago lol, they had seats 1 and 2 in a row and were on the wrong side of the theater.
They ended up sitting in the unlisted seats in the back row that don't get cleaned and have the recliners unplugged

 

we all knew Pete Yorn would violently slaughter a fellow singer songwriter at some point we just never thought it would be Isbell

Fraser was a bull in a china shop and was there to cause chaos in the courtroom. The performance worked for me. Hes much better in this than the whale
