The worst thing about Marty talking about Marvel is that there will forever be at least one journalist that won’t let it go and will feel the need to bring it up. Acclaimed directors can’t have their own opinions anymore. It could have easily have been one response to a question that most have forgotten but it will continue to lead to a now overly beaten cycle.
I don’t read critic reviews very much but I kind of assumed the marvel bashing would go over well with most, since those movies are mostly just recycled garbage that would be a chore to have to sit through and write about over and over.
AV Club used to have a bunch of the best writers on the net before it got bought out and the new owners told them to move cities or lose their jobs. it's such a shell of itself now
Stumbled upon the premiere last night in Hollywood lol. Went to the movies at the Chinese Theater and it was next door at the Dolby theater. Spent like 10 minutes trying to find my parking structure cuz Hollywood was a mess and ended up right next to the red carpet lol. Saw a lot of rich looking people but didn’t recognize anyone.
I’m gonna need a redbull for this. I’ve been passing out around 9pm if I get too cozy. Damn weather changes and getting dark at 7pm.
anyway, this is probably the best film i've seen all year. sounds dramatic but i was awestruck by the end (especially the end). marty did it yet again
