Hate that Leo's role has diminished, but can't wait to see what Plemons does with the character.

I like to think Plemons just super politely bullied Leo out of the starring role, Todd style

The only Scorsese film DiCaprio doesn't bring down is The Wolf of Wall Street because he is basically playing a version of himself.

He feels very forced, which is a big problem given that his character is also someone who is pretending.

Would prefer a movie about the exploitation of indigenous people to be told from their perspective. pass.

My friend and I have talked about that. Obviously that’d be wonderful but Scorsese has a strength at deconstructing whiteness and maleness, showcasing their complicity in violence and how it’s the dark part of so many of our American fables and immigrant stories. I’m very interested in how he’ll handle it and until I’ve seen the film there’s not much to go on.

also if you want to support one of our great current indigenous actresses see Lily Gladstone in everything she’s in.

It is one of those tricky situations because you do not get the same level of budget and exposure if you do not have names like Scorsese, DeNiro, and DiCaprio attached. Scorsese has been very thoughtful and delicate when he has made films about other groups and cultures, and he always does his research.

    Y'all are crazy

    Leo + Marty = greatness

I've loved most of their films together except for Shutter Island which I still very much enjoyed
