Any new release date yet for the album?
This is the most excited I've been for a new Cudi album since indicud.

No release date yet, I imagine it'll be after he's out of rehab so probably late November/December

 

December 16 release with an updated tracklist.

Can we talk about how Andre 3K has quietly put out more verses in 2016 than in any year since like 2011?

Wowwww. That's pretty exciting.

Seems like he's been going by the moniker "Andre Benjamin". Would be so great if he kept this pace up or increased it.

 

I've been liking what I've heard from this so far. Haven't really liked anything since MOTM2, but I'm curious about this.

Yeah MOTM2 was probably the last album I enjoyed the entire way through, although he has had a few great songs since then. But for some reason I have very high expectations for this one.

 

I pretty much have the same feelings about everything you said.

 

Surfin' is also two minutes longer now, interestingly. He must have added back the outro that was in the live version a few months ago

Very happy he's still managing to get this out in 2016. New album cover is slightly better too (only slightly though)

 

The colors are a nice addition

I was actually excited to listen after what he's been through + the pretty good singles but ugh if it's that long I doubt it will get that much replay from me

 

Unless I missed it, it's weird that that doesn't list his Converse song with the Gorillaz where he had like a 10-minute verse.

 

DoYaThing, with James Murphy also, I absolutely love that song and yes it should be on the list somewhere
