Yeah I'm glad people are going to be exposed to that song more, definitely one of his all time best for sure

I've been totally obsessed with Love. It's so good that it blows my mind it's from the Satellite Flight era. I wonder why it didn't make the album.

Also I'm not sure what the theme of this compilation is. If it's supposed to be a greatest hits it definitely has some questionable choices and omissions lol

 

I think it's genuinely just his own favourite songs? really enjoy that it highlights some forgotten stuff that people might not know about, but it's pretty wild to use two WZRD tracks and neither is Teleport 2 Me Jamie

 

Teleport 2 Me Jamie is one of the greatest pieces of music he has ever put out

 

This was the main issue for me! Teleport 2 Me Jamie isn't just one of my favorite Cudi songs, it was the only "hit" from his WZRD project. Just seemed odd to me to omit that but include 2 songs most casual listeners probably never heard.

 

I wish A Kid Named Cudi was on streaming.

Also Cudi broke up with Jamie which is why he may not have included the song, but included Sept.16 which is about his current partner. Probably the same reason that there are no songs that Kanye was involved with on the project

 

If any of you have somehow not heard this absolutely iconic tape then please take this opportunity now that he's re-released it onto streaming

Man it’s crazy. The Prayer is my favorite song of his, and when the world transitioned to streaming I just never heard it again.

crazy how all he did was put some old music on streaming but it's fully got me in a reflective nostalgia trip lol

legit just having the mixtape, love and Leader of the Delinquents officially out is everything I ever wanted at 18

 

He should put Cudderisback or Dat New New on Vol 2 of the greatest hits

 

Dat New New is a goddamn classic. I would love Dose of Dopeness or that unreleased WZRD song (Rocket? I think) on Vol 2 as well. but that's pipe dreamin lol
