Kid Cudi - Entergalactic (September 30,2022) Album

Well, happy birthday to me

excited for it

 

I don't know why I'm getting the feeling I won't be crazy about this album. I don't like his recent trappy stuff he's been doing as much as his normal sound (but I don't hate it) and all of the previews still sound like that

Would love to be wrong though, and the art style of the show looks beautiful

 

So I take it that MOTM3 arena tour isn’t happening anymore?

 

It's been happening for the past 2 weeks.

 

Yeah I just saw him this week. He played a ton of MOTM3 songs along with the classics off MOTM 1+2 and A Kid Named Cudi. Good show

 

thankful for the heads up, looks like there’s a Toronto show tomorrow I can hit. Is he ignoring KSG, Passion, and Bullet on this tour?

 

he played by design a few times but pretty much yeah

 

He's ignoring anything Kanye centric tbh (so no Kids See Ghosts, production or featured such as Erase Me, etc)

 

Cudi is one of my favorite artists of all time and I was initially really bummed that I already had another show on the night he came here but to be honest once I saw the setlist I wasn't that upset

Would have loved to see the AKNC songs but way too short and heavy on new stuff outside of that

Haven’t heard the new single. Didn’t enjoy MOTM3 unfortunately, but big fan of Passion and I guess his less popular stuff. I liked KSG but can’t listen to it anymore bc of Kanye. Hoping he indulges his weird side a bit with this one

oh sweet, I didn’t realize this was an album to go with themovie. I planned on watching it anyway

 

Pleasantly surprised with this. I think I actually enjoy it more than MOTM3.

Yes, it's solid. Just a rom-com with Spider-Verse looking animation and a Cudi soundtrack

 

Haven't seen the movie yet but I actually love the album, I thought it would be on the weaker side of the discography but it really takes me back to the classic Cudi sound. I think MOTMIII has more standout songs but this one is a lot more along the lines of what I look for from him so I'm very happy we got both of them in pretty quick succession
