First listen is not for me but excited to hear in the context of the rest of the album.

 

I really need to get into Instagram so I can stay up to date with a lot of these bands, but I just can't bring myself to do it. But I'm to the point now where I almost loathe social media.

 

Really dig this. It's parts of the sound he explored on that last EP plus some of the experimentation from Brother's Blood. All the way here for it.

 

Just follow the bands and avoid the rest?

 

I get that and I’m not the biggest fan of that sound for him but this song rocks

 

He had a home show clip of that song posted on YouTube months ago. Albatross acoustic was awesome in that format.

 

I wish every KD album came as both an acoustic based version and a full band version. Both styles shows off different areas of his and his bands skill sets.

This is good, but it doesn't really get me excited.

The last KD track I really vibed with was Kuala Lumpur.

Also, does that little blurb imply that Kevin got/is getting divorced??

 

He got divorced a year or two ago a believe. Maybe longer even.

 

He’s talked about his life in various interviews before and has touched on this topic and coparenting. His lyrics carry so much more meaning when you understand where they come from. I love how he’s always shared those parts of his life.

 

I wonder who the career collaborator mentioned in the Bandcamp blurb is

Yeah that's not what I was inferring haha that would be a nightmare. My first thought went to Rob Schnapf or something
