Oh shit. I've come to consider most of that first Matter of Time session to be the definitive cuts of those songs. Super excited for this.
MOT was my intro to him and my favorite thing he's done, basically a supercharged greatest hits record. stoked for this.
Still funny we’ve never actually gotten the song “Matter of Time” on either of these lol. Regardless, I really like the energy the band and Kev bring on these and am excited!
It was on the original 2012 version, though I don't think it was a "live in studio" recording like the rest.
Just got an email with Matter of Time II download. Can't listen til tonight but I'm so excited for this!
Thanks for the reminder! I saw that email first thing in the morning but couldn't download since I'm on my phone. Will give it a listen this afternoon.
Listening to Matter of Time -- does the chorus of The First Hit kinda sound like Drunk Drivers/Killer Whales?

There was a point in time where it sounded like that may be his last cell length. Glad he’s carrying on. Feels like this record was done in stages or just took a long while. Also it sounded like he worked on lots of songs.
