That's a great tour, nice melding of sounds but not so weird that the Mobo/sn crowd won't be into the obsessives and kdev. Wish it hit Atlanta, but I'll drive for it if I'm free

 

He was on Paste's facebook live today, and it was great. It's still up on Paste's fb page if anyone wants to check it out. He made a cryptic comment about his tour plans for the rest of the year: "I know some things after the Modern Baseball tour, but I'm not allowed to say them yet."

Gotta be a Brand New tour, right? Maybe? Probably?

Yeah just saying bc they're not well known yet that this is a great tour bill bc that crowd will definitely embrace them, and the older people who will go to see Kevin will like them too imo. Plus Kev might get some new fans out of it

 

I liked his covers best basically in the order posted. but i like all of them to be clear

Anyone going to his upcoming tour dates? I actually opened for the show in Providence. It was a great night and Kevin was on as always. I love seeing him with the band but it's always special to watch him play solo.

 

did anyone here see Kevin in Baton Rouge LA (at Spanish Moon) last fall?

 

Friendly reminder that Every Famous Last Word (the song) is an incredible early stand out in his career, featuring writing that is a bit more impressionistic for Kevin and music that definitely alludes to his more recent output.

 

Is there anywhere to listen to that really early stuff? Miracle of 86 stuff?

Title track of Bulldozer has been ingrained in my head all day today. I need to start reworking my cover of that song. It's actually harder than it sounds.
